LA ZENIA coastline has seen many changes in recent times. Spaniards so famous for their Fiestas and colourful lifestyle, any excuse for partying outside is always on the cards. Stroll along seafront walkway in Torrevieja in the warm evening sunshine, see the local people swimming in the sea pools and from the rocks fishing, often with a barbeque going.The shops, restaurants, ice cream parlours, bakeries and Tapas bars are open for most of the night during the summer months. If you prefer English or other euorpean company you'll meet plenty of people to share a moment with. Restaurants and watering holes to wind away the hours and take in the atmosphere. Take a ride out to Villamartin golf 2 kilometers away,its plush outside Plaza of restaurants bars and bowling alley, palm trees and parrots. 10 minutes further on through the lemon groves and Rancho Blanco a Ranch style restaurant and delighful evening for everyone.
During the long lazy days take a 10 minute stroll to the blue flag beaches of La Zenia,El Capitan,Cabo Roig or Play Flamenca the choice is yours with lovely beach bars on everyone of them, La Zenia bay with it's wonderful Mirada resort restaurants, complete with a swimming pool just steps away from the lovely white silken beach. Adjacent to the apartment just 5 minutes stroll under the arches is the lovely Orihuela Costa Resort that welcome all our visitors. Here you may use the Gymnasium and tennis courts, beauty parlour, (You will need to book at Orihuela reception) horse riding, 4 excellent golf courses, a waterpark, casino and fabulous street markets all within a short distance from Molino Blanco. If you like architecture visit Murcia with its famous Cathederal, cobbled streets and pavement cafes. 15 minutes further south you have Mar Menor and the La Manga strip. To the North Alicante anf Elche the town of Palms, Calpe, and Denia, Benidorm and the famous Terra Mitica theme park, . Air-conditioned buses are just over the road from Molino Blanco and will take you to wherever your heart desires along the coast with connections in Alicante to further afield also, a taxi rank 2 minutes away. Be quiet or busy the mediterranean coastal resorts of La Zenia and Torrevieja has something for everyone to enjoy.
